Angus Temrak has always been curious, deep-thinking and creative, so when he discovered acting he decided that the performing life was for him. He consequently spent his teens involved in community theatre on the Central Coast.
After he completed his HSC he sought adventure and traveled overseas to get a broad range of life experiences. Angus found himself working in the countryside of Japan and in its busy cities where he got some acting gigs. He then went backpacking around Southeast Asia and Central Australia, working interesting jobs in exotic places and gaining valuable experience. After three years away, he felt it was time to seriously dedicate himself to studying the craft of acting—having completed two years at Sydney Theatre School.
Angus believes that the combination of rigorous study, emotional intelligence, determination, courage and real-world experience is essential for any professional actor.
