Biography
Anna Lindstedt is a multi-disciplinary artist specialising in theatre-making, acting, and puppetry. A 2017 graduate of Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts in Performance Studies, she has since appeared in numerous independent and mainstage theatrical productions.
In 2018, Anna co-founded the independent theatre collective Lindstedt & Davies alongside fellow Curtin alumnus Sally Q Davies. Together, they have produced five original full-length works, as well as a variety of readings, creative developments, and short pieces. Their feminist roller-skating comedy “Ugly Virgins”, which Anna co-wrote and co-directed, earned The Blue Room Theatre’s Award for Writing and was nominated for both the Performing Arts WA Award for Best Independent Production and The Blue Room Theatre’s Award for Directing.
Anna recently co-wrote and performed in their newest work “Day For It”, which won the inaugural People’s Choice Award at Midsumma’s Queer Playwriting Awards Showcase in 2024.
