Biography
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Jessica Trueman caught the acting bug at a very young age, when attending her first drama class at age eight.
Since then Jessica has trained at NIDA, Screenwise and Sydney Actors Collective to name a few, and finished her Bachelor’s degree in Communication (Media Arts and Production) graduating in April 2020. She also was placed in the Top 20 for the Showcase Aus Self Tape Initiative.
Jessica’s credits include the award-winning short “My Name is Richard” (2020) as well as indie shorts “Beneath the Eye” (2019), “Consume” (2019) and “Ella” (2020) which screened at Flickerfest 2021.
In combination with acting, Jessica hopes to use her film degree and life experience to share and tell stories that she’s passionate about.
