Biography
Christopher Jean Pierre Remy was born and raised in Sydney, Australia as the youngest of his family with one other sibling. He graduated from Delany College in 1999 developing a passion for acting in theatre and film whilst studying Drama. After finishing school, he completed multiple extras work on “Home and Away” and “All Saints” in the year 2000.
After steeping away from the spotlight for personal reasons in 2002, Chris returned to his passion a decade later by featuring in various television commercials and documentaries. In 2015, he was a featured extra on the motion picture “2:22” and the SketchShe video clip “Don't Stop Me Now”. He also appeared in the motion picture “Take Me to the End of the World”, “Senior 001” and the web series “Atomic Kingdom” in 2016.
Although he relishes in antagonistic, threatening, slimy types as well as comic relief with no small measure of ham and satire, he is a very approachable, affable and genuine personality in real life. Meanwhile Chris is equally at home in dramatic depth, bringing on the tears and relatable sympathy on cue.
Chris regularly works on various vertical film projects but is perhaps best known for his stint on a Czech food tasting reality television show where he rose to fame unexpectedly gaining a fanbase in the process. He also has notoriety in semi-professional wrestling circles for his bad guy reputation and will literally throw himself into any stunt whether it be on stage or on screen. By contrast as an MC and host who loves people, he exudes showmanship charm working the room and whipping up the crowds by regularly spruiking whatever product he has been asked to endorse.
Chris credits his ethnically ambiguous looks to be able to play across any Middle Eastern, Southern American or European culture. With an olive complexion he can notably pass for Greek, Italian, French, Cyprian and Spanish to name a few.
