Biography
Troy Rogers, a fresh, yet accomplished actor, musician, writer and producer is out there making beautiful things with beautiful people. After rediscovering his childhood passions to express and create, he has been delving deep into his art with vigour.
Acting is Troy’s creative cornerstone, where he thrives on stage and screen, but he’s also inspired to create without borders, regularly singing, dancing, modelling, silversmithing, drawing and writing. While confident portraying characters in many realms, he also tells his own personal story around the country (and next the world!) with his heartfelt and dynamically artful memoir “Upside Down Fantasyland” where he has turned his pain into art, sharing with audiences what it was like to grow up with drug-addicted parents.
Troy’s latest accomplishment is being cast in the original production of “Threads”, a new eco-musical written and directed by Jade Naidu of Naidu Theatre Company, staging Jan 2026.
