Biography
Struan Davidson is a Malaysian-Australian actor of mixed heritage and a graduate of the National institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) (Musical Theatre, 2021). His recent stage credits include Joly in the Noteable Theatre Company’s production of “Les Misérables” and a Zoom production with a US-based theatre company featuring songs from new musicals.
He is also a singer, pianist and violinist, having trained professionally with Robert Bertram (voice), Dr Paul Rickard-Ford (piano) and Professor Peter Shixiang Zhang (violin). Growing up as a performer, Struan has appeared on stage across multiple venues, including Sydney City Recital Hall at Angel Place (Australia), Admiralty House in Kirribilli (Australia) and the Kuala Lumpur Town Hall (Malaysia).
With a passion for language, literature and communication, Struan speaks Mandarin and completed a double Bachelor’s degree in French studies and law. In his spare time, he also tutors high school Latin and classical texts.
