Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath."
Michael Caine
As we often say in this business, we liken an artist's performance to that of an Olympian swimmer’s. You don't get to the Olympics without practicing every day in a lap pool. And the same is so true of this analogy – otherwise you sit at home waiting for the phone call to ring – which, infamously, has been the life of a working performer.
It is for these reasons alone that we have become Australia's first port of call on roles relating to diversity and disability and most of all, honest, consistent, stand-out characterisation. We support all artists on their own path and cheer on their deserved successes, while at the same time learning from obstacles that they inevitably encounter over the course of their career.
We usually receive daily casting briefs and breakdowns catering to feature film, television, videos, advertising, photography, straight theatre and musical theatre as well as festival and event spaces. Most casting professionals use this service liberally, and will accept online submissions, self-tests, actors' profiles and in-the-room auditions.
