Biography

American-born Lance Strauss has been a member of Equity since 1973.

Lance boasts over 50 years’ experience in all facets of the entertainment industry including Theatre, Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Pantomime, Theatre Restaurant, Film, Television, Variety and Commercials.

Since 1989, he has also been known as Elton Jack and has performed his Elton John tribute act around the world to great acclaim, with performances for corporate events, cruise ship headline shows, television and clubs. Notably, he has even played at the Sydney Opera house and The Royal Albert Hall.

Lance is a multi-talented actor, singer, musician, composer, producer, and director.
