Biography
William is a passionate, diligent and curious non-binary actor who loves to throw himself into different worlds. His other stage credits include Basic Jane in “This Changes Everything” (2022) for Echo Youth; Rob in “Little Girls Alone in the Woods” (2021); Derek in “Dags” (2022) for Canberra Youth Theatre; one of Fagin’s Gang in “Oliver!” (2018) with The Queanbeyan Players, and The Dormouse in “Alice in Wonderland” (2018) with Ickle Pickle Productions.
Film and television credits include Terry in the short film “Safety Net” (Official Selection Sydney Film Festival, New Zealand Film Festival and The Slam Dance Film Festival) and Horace in the ABC TV series “Born to Spy”. He has very much enjoyed his time on set, crediting his influence to his family who works in the arts. As such he has a great respect for the hard work that goes into any production, thus striving to contribute to all artistic projects in a professional and committed manner.
In addition, another reason for William’s interest in an acting career is his desire to be involved in the creation of narratives that better reflect his lived experience. As an actor with cerebral palsy he wants the world to see him as he truly is, in turn wanting others who have disabilities to be able to see themselves on screen.
William is learning singing and drums at The Bec Taylor School of Music, while producing music in his spare time.
